Accessible and Affordable Bush Experience!
2010 Rates for Fly-In Fishing Vacations Now Set!!!

Hello to all our friends!! It has been great meeting several first-time guests and seeing many of our returning visitors throughout the season. Thanks to all for making our summer so wonderful and for your cooperation on keeping our sites clean and tidy for the next incoming group. Also, many thanks for your kind words and referrals, we appreciate and benefit greatly from word-to-mouth recommendations.

We already have some work in mind for the spring of 2010! For instance, we want to bring in 2 more boats each at Boleau and at Wolf Lakes . We also plan on installing solar powered water pumps for running water at all of Stantonair’s cabins. Even with the cloud cover we’ve had, this system was tested 100% successful throughout the past summer at Redboat and Boleau Lakes . Ongoing cosmetic work and improvements are also underway. Many thanks to our long returning friend, Phil Savatti, for his contribution towards new propane BBQs we will bring in to all camps. I will say no more as I am now committed to all these upgrades!!

2009 Season’s recap:

Even though the 2009 fishing season showed some wet weather, all that rain did not stop our guests from getting the job done and reeling in some trophies out of the water! We always appreciate receiving your pictures and below are just a few of this year’s best. The Stantonair office however, got soaked by a late-august tornado that tore-off part of the airport roof. Luckily, none of the airplanes sustained any damage and our outpost cabins were also spared. Follow-up phone calls from guests at camps were indeed reassuring!! It is strongly recommended to always bring a cell phone on your fishing trips as reception is possible at all of our camps!!! Only one “Medevac” call for me this summer as an unfortunate guest got one of his finger hooked!!!! Rest assured, my “anonymous” friend survived quite well and ended up on a wild night at the Casino before returning to camp the following morning. Now keep in mind these barbless hooks that save fishes and fingers!!!

Great Catch!!! Darren Lariviere at Lone Lake, season 2009.

We are now pleased to announce the 2010 rates for all of our remote lake destinations. Despite the exponential increase of land use permits and the upcoming harmonized sale taxes, we have yet kept our rate increase to a bare minimum of 2% over last year’s rate. Note that Lone Lake cabin’s last year make-over justified a steeper increase and we are still working on putting in new windows and more lights. Stantonair still pride itself into providing the most accessible and affordable fly-in-fishing vacation packages in the province!

Check out the 2010 price listings below ...

Many of our past guests this year have made tentative bookings for the next season and I am looking forward to hearing back from you to confirm these. To everyone else, please give me a call, or drop me an email soon, to ensure you have the best choice of lakes and dates.

Best regards,

Helene Rivest
