How The Pros Fish For Bass ! Here are a few hints!

During the low-water, high-temperature days of summer, a fisherman's best bet is to fish very early or very late in the day. A flurry of activity is nearly guaranteed around first light. Another productive period is just before dark.

The Big Melt is Over!!!

It is a much earlier break-up than usual with a clearing of the lakes by the end of March! Soon we will be putting new floats on our Cessna 206 and will be journeying out to all of the outpost cabins to get them ready for this new season.

We plan to improve our fly-in outpost fishing camps by installing running water to all of the Stanton Air outposts and we are bringing in some new boats. Esthetic work on all of our sites is always an ongoing process. We have received many favorable comments about the condition of our remote lake outposts and we appreciate the feedback. It helps us focus on the exact needs of our guests.

About weight limits. Keep it reasonable. The limit per passenger is 300 lbs. including body weight and gear. Here are some items that will incur extra costs: coffin size coolers, scuba tanks and diving gear, generators.

A surcharge will apply to excess weight. Consult each of the members of your group to avoid duplicating gear, food and beverages.

Stantonair was represented at the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show in March and since then we have been receiving tons of inquiries and numerous bookings. Luckily, we still have some availability early in the season at prime bass time so let us know if you’d like to grab a date! Don’t forget that we open Wolf Lake for splake fishing as early as mid-May.

Now is the time to call or drop me an email to ensure you have the best choice of lakes and dates!
