Victoria Lake runs east/west and is immediately adjacent
to Wolf Lake. A 40 foot portage separates the lakes
from each other.
Victorias shape is identical to Wolfs,
but the lake itself is longer with a narrow mid-section.
Rocky shorelines, lily pads and blow-downs dot the shore.
Victoria boasts small and large mouth bass, and the
occasional once-stocked splake.
The six-man 'L' shaped cabin separates sleeping areas
from food and living areas. The cabin is fully insulated
and has a woodstove for comfort in the early spring
and autumn. A large deck spanning the two cabin wings
faces north and has an unobstructed view of the lake.
Good quality boats and motors, appliances and attractive
barn-board exterior paneling make Victoria one of our
most attractive destinations.
Larger groups may wish to book Wolf and Victoria simultaneously,
for a total capacity of 12. Since the portage between
the lakes is straightforward, getting together in the
evenings, or sharing the lakes, is possible.
